Travelers have close proximity to all modes of transportation including the Portland International Jetport airport (less than 3 miles away), Cat Ferry Terminal, Amtrak rail and bus terminals. Many of Portland's main attractions are well within walking distance of the Inn, these include Haddlock Field, home of the Portland Seadogs (The Boston Red Sox AA affiliate), The Cumberland County Civic Center and the Merrill Auditorium, both offering fabulous schedules for music and the performing arts.

Further afield, Maine offers great shopping in close by locals like Freeport, Wiscasset, Rockland, Camden and Boothbay Harbor. Fishing, boating, camping and hiking are a short drive away in the beautiful Lakes Region. Leaf peeping in the autumn when the landscape is colored with the warm glow of red, orange and yellow is always stunning. Skiing, snowmobiling and snow boarding are not too far from the Inn in the winter months.
